Typically, I blog on my personal site, MarshalDCarper.com, but I am completing an exercise to expand my knowledge and familiarity with blogging and other interactive media tools.  If you aren’t familiar with my work, I have written extensively on mixed martial arts and on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.  My first two books, The Cauliflower Chronicles and Marcelo Garcia’s Advanced Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, are for sale now, and two more are on the way.

If you have not read either of those books, I highly recommend starting with The Cauliflower Chronicles, especially if you are not a fight fan.  For this book, I lived in Hilo, HI and got my ass kicked by professional mixed martial artists and by Hawaiian culture.  Check it out:
